![]() ![]() I've been looking at Andoer 480 lights, as well as an Andoer 14" ring light. Since lots of Andoer stuff comes from China, I assume that Andoer makes the stuff, and Neewer OEMs it in the states. ![]() ![]() "Neewer" lighting stuff (and lots of camera stuff) is sold under the name "Andoer" in SE Asia. Than you will see what you actualy need and may buy another main light later, if you have a higher budget :) This can be done with anything cheap, even a flashlight or something, in my opinion. The third light is usualy in a traditional 3 point light your rim/hair-light. Instead of a fill-light you can use a cheap reflector. I would recommend to use 1 light as a mainlight. The color rendition is quite ok - and this is way more important than you may think) Its not the greatest light on earth, but certainly a better start than this neewer stuff. For example an aputure 120d mark I (get the mark I since the mark II is incredible loud compared and will fuck up your audio). Instead of 3 cheap lights, I would recommend 1 light thats a least a bit better and fill the second with a reflector. To put things into perspective: did you EVER find ANY bad review video on YouTube? Its NOTHING but commercials, covered as "reviews" by influencers. and this is something no (youtube-)Reviewer would tell you, because they either didnt realy use this stuff themself, or they just recommend it to push their affiliated links. The Magenta and green color spill is incredible bad. I would absolutely not recommend a cheap light. u/shickey maintains a videography-themed weekly challenge subreddit, so if you're looking for something to shoot head on over to /r/DoCreativeĬamera, NLE, year started, general location Requests for feedback or comments must be posted in the monthly ‘I Made This/Feedback’ threadĪ full copy of the rules can be read here.Use of affiliate links must be disclosed in post.Links posted must relate directly to videography. If you're looking for professional-only discussion, give /r/videoprofessionals a shot! r/videography is a subreddit intended for all skill levels, from beginners all the way through to professionals to come together to discuss the trade.
